a little gratitude to start the week
A Little Gratitude to Start the Week
Ten days until Christmas and I’m solo parenting for the week! My husband’s company is based in New Jersey, and while he doesn’t travel too often, he’s always gone at least once in December for their holiday festivities. Major props to those of you who do this full time- you’re the real heroes!!
With a busy week ahead, I wanted to start things off with a little gratitude. I can already tell I’m going to need a full cup over the next few days, and taking a moment to slow down and appreciate what’s around me always helps.
Grateful for You!
First and foremost, I’m grateful for all of YOU. Thank you for being part of this community, for cheering me on, for reading my posts, opening my emails, laughing with me, and supporting the wild creative dreams I get to chase every day. It means more than I can ever really put into words.
Grateful for the Artist Community!
I’m also so grateful for the incredible artist and maker community I’ve been lucky enough to find over the years. Friends in this industry who understand the highs and lows, who share advice, listen when things feel overwhelming, and celebrate every little win right alongside me. Having people who truly “get it” is such a gift.
Grateful for My Family!
And of course, I’m endlessly grateful for my family- my biggest cheerleaders. They see the work that goes on behind the scenes, encourage me when I’m stretched thin, and genuinely champion every dream I’m building.
The photo I’m sharing today is one of my all-time favorites. All four of my boys helping me carry in my very first fabric shipment. Those boxes were full of MY fabric, and they were just as thrilled about it as I was. Moments like that remind me exactly why I do what I do.
Here’s to a week filled with grace, deep breaths, and maybe even a little magic. 💛
