A Dream Come True — My Debut Fabric Collection with Andover Fabrics
I’ve been waiting (not so patiently) to share this news with you, and I still can’t quite believe it’s real: I designed a fabric collection—and it’s being published by Andover Fabrics! Introducing Color Pop Playground, my debut line, filled with bright, joyful prints that feel like they jumped straight from my sketchbook into your sewing room. 💕
This collection is deeply personal. It was born out of a 100-day creative project I started last year, where I challenged myself to fill my sketchbook every day—no rules, no expectations. Just play. That sketchbook became a little playground for my creativity, and the name Color Pop Playground was inspired by that process. The pages were full of vibrant doodles, stitched motifs, bits of florals, and things pulled from everyday life with my boys. Those colorful pops of joy became the foundation for this collection.
Each design holds a story:
Hexie Garden was inspired by the scrappy hexagon quilt I’ve been slowly hand-sewing—because let’s be real, hexagons are the bestagons.
Berry Sweet is a little love letter to the pineberries my boys devoured all winter.
Shelved is a nod to the constant stacks of books around our house—both the ones that inspire me and the ones my boys leave everywhere (even if it drives me a little bit crazy!).
I created this collection with other makers in mind—especially quilters who love color and playful designs. The entire process reminded me why I started designing in the first place: to chase joy, embrace creativity, and make beautiful things.
I can’t wait to share more. I’m already dreaming up quilts, bags, and little projects to bring this collection to life. Stay tuned for tutorials, pattern ideas, and fabric close-ups!
Thank you for being here and cheering me on. I hope Color Pop Playground brings a little more play and color into your world, too. 💖
