About the Collection: Patchwork and Petals

Patchwork and Petals is a love letter to two things that always bring me back to center: quilting and florals.

It was inspired by the calm rhythm of slow stitching, hand quilting, and embroidery. There is something about needle and thread that feels grounding to me, and this collection is a reflection of that quiet kind of joy.

The palette is saturated and playful, and you will find little quilty details woven throughout. It blends softness and whimsy in a way that feels both comforting and full of life.

I truly cannot wait to see what you create with it.

A Closer Look at the Prints

Pieced Together

This is the main print of the collection and was designed with makers in mind.

It is a patchwork cheater print that works beautifully as a backing, pulling together many of the colors from across the line. I also love including a subtle grid in prints like this in my collections. It can act as a helpful guide when quilting on a domestic machine, so you do not have to mark your lines ahead of time.

It is both functional and fun, which is always a win in my book.

Patchwork and Petals

If I had a garden, this is what I would want it to look like.

Colorful flowers mixed with quilt-inspired details, all layered together in a way that feels playful and a little bit whimsical. I kept imagining what a quilted floral field might look like, and this print is exactly that.

Floral Stitches

I have always loved hand sewing details like embroidery, cross stitch, and hand quilting.

This print is a little nod to all of those things, with small floral motifs that feel like stitched bouquets. I think it adds a lot of personality to the collection, and I also love the idea of stitching over it and incorporating it into projects in a more hands-on way. The soft nature of this print also makes it perfect for background fabrics.

Lucky Clover and Winging It

These two prints are the workhorses of the collection.

They act as blenders, helping to connect the other prints and colors in a really natural way. They are also strong enough to stand on their own, which makes them great additions to other projects or collections you may already have in your stash or shop.

Cheerful Blooms

These little flowers make me so happy.

There is something about simple, daisy-like blooms that just feels cheerful and timeless. I designed this print with a bit more space around each flower so it can be easily fussy cut, but it also works beautifully as a backing or a bag lining when you want something colorful that still feels light and airy.

Sweet Stripe

I love a good small-scale print that can do a little bit of everything.

This stripe is perfect for bindings, accents, and all those finishing details that pull a project together. It comes in seven colors, which gives you lots of flexibility. Depending on how you use it, it can read as a stripe or almost like a solid, which makes it incredibly versatile.

It is one of those prints that plays really well with the rest of the collection and will continue to be useful long after.
