all the things tote- my new favorite bag

There are certain projects that make you wonder how you ever lived without them, and for me, the All The Things Tote is one of those. It’s a simple sew, but oh my goodness — it is so useful.

Just the other day, I had three of these totes piled up in the back of my car while I was running errands, and I caught myself thinking… you know what I need? A fourth tote. 😂 That’s when you know a bag pattern has truly earned its name.

This latest version is stitched up in my Color Pop Playground fabrics with Andover, and it makes me so happy every time I look at it. Bright colors, playful prints, and a bag that can handle all the things — it’s a perfect match.

Right now, this tote is patiently waiting in the wings because I need it for upcoming trunk shows. But trust me, once those are wrapped, it’s sliding right into my everyday rotation.

And speaking of trunk shows — if you’re a quilt shop carrying Color Pop Playground, I’d love to talk with you about hosting one. They’re such a fun way to see projects in person and get inspired by what’s possible with the fabric line.

Project Details-

Pattern: All The Things Tote by Knot and Thread

Fabric: Color Pop Playground by me with Andover Fabrics

Webbing: possibly a little something new coming soon 👀

If you haven’t sewn this pattern yet, I highly recommend adding it to your list. It’s one of those projects that’s straightforward to make but endlessly practical. And who doesn’t need a few more cheerful totes in their life?
