ghostly garden fabric is finally arriving in quilt shops
My second fabric line Ghostly Garden fabric is officially starting to arrive in quilt shops and honestly… I don’t think seeing my fabric out in the world will ever stop feeling surreal in the best possible way 💛
Seeing bolts on shelves, projects starting to pop up online, and hearing from people who are sewing with the collection has been incredibly exciting. Every single time someone shares a project or tags me in something they’re making, it genuinely makes my day.
Designing fabric is such a strange and wonderful thing because so much of it happens quietly behind the scenes for such a long time. Sketching, coloring, revising, waiting for strike-offs, sewing samples, photographing collections… and then suddenly one day it’s actually out in the world living in other people’s sewing rooms.
It’s the absolute best.
Ghostly Garden is my Halloween fabric collection for Andover Fabrics and it’s filled with playful spooky details, happy color, ginghams, florals, webs, and all the little whimsical Halloween touches I love so much.
I designed this collection to feel Halloween-inspired while still being colorful, creative, and usable for all kinds of sewing projects:
Halloween quilts
quilted bags
pillows
zipper pouches
home decor
scrappy patchwork projects
I already have way too many project ideas floating around in my head for this collection 😅
My Fabric Finally Arrived Too… Sort Of 😂
In very real-life fashion, all of my Ghostly Garden yardage arrived right after I got home from NYC… and life has been so busy lately that I still haven’t fully opened the boxes yet.
They are currently sitting in my house waiting for me to have approximately five uninterrupted minutes to actually go through everything 😂
Please Share Your Projects With Me
One of my favorite parts of this whole process is seeing what other people create with the fabric. Quilters and makers always come up with combinations and ideas I never would have thought of myself and it’s endlessly inspiring.
So if you’re sewing with Ghostly Garden, please tag me when you share your projects online 👻 I really, truly love seeing them and cheering you on.
Also… important question:
How much longer do we think my boys are willing to pose with fabric boxes before they officially decide they’re too cool for this? Asking for a friend 😂
