pieced together | the headliner print from my patchwork & petals fabric collection
Thank you all so much for the love you’ve been showing my newest fabric collection, Patchwork & Petals 💛 It has been so fun seeing your excitement and hearing which prints and colors you’re gravitating toward already.
One of the prints I’ve been especially excited to share more of is the main “hero” print from the collection called Pieced Together ✂
This print is a cheater-style patchwork fabric designed to bring lots of quilt-inspired details together into one print. I love creating fabrics that feel playful and visually interesting while still being really useful for quilters and makers, and this one definitely falls into that category.
A Quilter-Inspired Patchwork Print
When I designed Pieced Together, I wanted it to feel like a colorful collection of tiny quilt blocks and stitched moments all living together in one fabric. It has a patchwork feel without needing to piece all of those tiny sections individually, which makes it especially fun for:
quilt backs
bags
binding accents
fussy cutting
garment sewing
home decor projects
I also love prints with subtle grids and structure because they can help guide quilting lines on domestic machines without needing lots of marking beforehand.
Two Colorways, Two Completely Different Moods
One of my favorite things about this print is how differently the two colorways feel while still belonging to the same collection story.
Sunrise ☀️
The Sunrise colorway leans warm and cheerful with pinks, yellows, and oranges that feel bright, playful, and happy. It feels like sunshine and fresh flowers and summer sewing days all wrapped together.
Dusk 🌙
The Dusk version pulls in cooler aquas, teals, and blues with just little touches of pink for balance. It feels calmer and moodier while still keeping that playful Patchwork & Petals energy.
I really love both of them for completely different reasons, which honestly makes choosing a favorite pretty impossible over here 😊
Patchwork & Petals for Andover Fabrics
Patchwork & Petals is my newest fabric collection for Andover Fabrics and is currently available for preorder through quilt shops.
If you’re excited about this collection, one of the best ways to support it is by asking your favorite local quilt shop to bring it in 💛 It truly helps so much and means the world to independent designers like me.
I’ll be sharing more behind-the-scenes details, individual print breakdowns, project ideas, and sewing inspiration from the collection soon. Until then… I’d genuinely love to know:
Are you more of a Sunrise person or Dusk person? 🌸
