this week’s top 3: a creative accountability challenge

Hey friends! 👋

If you’re anything like me, you probably have a running list of projects that never seems to get shorter. Between family, work, and all the day-to-day tasks that pop up, some of the fun creative projects I want to do keep getting pushed aside for the things that feel more urgent.

As a quilter, designer, and creative entrepreneur, I’ve realized that one of the best ways to make progress is through accountability and focus. That’s why I’ve decided to start a little series I’m calling “This Week’s Top 3.” It’s simple: I pick three tasks that I really want to complete this week—no matter what.

👉 And I’d love for you to join me!

Not only does this help me (hello, ADHD brain 🙋‍♀️) keep my priorities straight, but it’s also a great way for us to support and encourage each other in our creative journeys. Whether you’re a quilter, a sewist, or just someone juggling too many projects at once, this might be just the little boost you need to check those boxes off your list.

Here are my Top 3 for the week:

Get my physical color samples in the mail. I’m working on a really fun project right now, and one of my favorite steps is building color palettes with actual swatches. There’s just something about moving physical color around until it clicks.

Finish photographing my Ghostly Garden samples. I can’t wait to start sewing next week, but I need to wrap up this round of photography first!

Photograph a client project. I have a client shoot on deck, and I’m determined to get their images delivered by the end of the week.

That’s it—three things. Manageable, motivating, and not overwhelming.

So what about you? Do you have three things you’d like to finish this week? Big or small, quilting-related or not—I’d love to hear what’s on your list. Drop your “Top 3” in the comments or join me over on Instagram where I’ll be sharing updates throughout the week.

Let’s cheer each other on and make this a week of finishing what matters most!
